Everyone who works in Logistics wants to ensure the smooth flow of materials and end product. The logistical rationalisation of material flows is of course influenced by numerous complex and interrelated factors. However, we have specialist engineers in-house who can design and construct the ideal Logistics building, including warehouses or the upgrade of existing logistic centres.
Our specialist logistics engineers are constantly future proofing every detail, especially with the fast-moving evolution of new technology and processes. BIM – the digital version of reality
In 2006 HWP was one of the first planning companies in Germany to introduce BIM (Building Information Modeling) as an innovative planning approach. Since then, we have been applying this successful method to complex construction projects, enabling our clients to digitally experience the future building in all dimensions, even before construction begins, thanks to virtual reality.
The advantages for the client are numerous: Collisions, for example between pipes, can be reliably identified. Fatal planning errors, which are associated with prolonged construction and higher planning costs, are avoided at an early stage. Digital planning thus enables a more precise cost calculation and ensures maximum planning reliability.
Our healthcare specialists have developed robust consulting and planning solutions related to an increasingly ageing population, which is a global trend known as ‘Silver Society’. Tools such as ‘best point of practice’ and ‘best point of service’ are used to frame our method of answering many increasingly complex issues related to old age. For instance, how should one design healthcare facilities, such as hospitals, clinics and care homes, with an increasing number of patients with dementia and handicapped mobility?
