Matthias Kammer

Matthias Kammer completed his studies in Civil Engineering at the University of Stuttgart in 1998 and has been working for HWP Planungsgesellschaft since 1998.

For the past 20 years, he has been responsible for a wide variety of projects, particularly in the healthcare, university, and education sectors. Notable accomplishments of his professional career include the construction of the University Hospital in Jena, construction and renovation of the department store Oberpollinger in Munich, construction of the Social and Educational Sciences of the Goethe University Frankfurt, construction of several schools in the Stuttgart and Munich area, as well as the construction of the “Bett und Funktionsgebäude Haus M” at the Städtisches Klinikum in Karlsruhe.

Since 2012, he has been a lecturer at the Institute for Construction Management at the University of Stuttgart. His involvement in the University incorporates his expertise in project development and management of public construction, with a focus on educational, research, and healthcare fields.

Matthias Kammer has been Managing Director of HWP Planungsgesellschaft since 2010 and a Managing Partner since 2017. He is responsible for the Project Management and Medical and Laboratory Engineering disciplines within the firm, as well as being involved in the business organization and consulting within HWP’s Healthcare sector.
